I have recently picked up a Zenith Z5P and the mount it comes with is just to high for my liking. I am not a fan of the sight picture that it yields. I am looking to mount for now a Sig Romeo and later a Aimpoint T2. I am looking for a "low mount" that will give me a absolute co-witness or as close as I can get.
Up for sale is a Scalarworks T1/T2 footprint (Holosun, Vortex, etc.) absolute co-witness mount. It is in excellent condition as seen in the pics, briefly mounted with no range time. Jun 19, 2014 · Not always true. A Vortex Sparc and an Aimpoint Micro can use the same mount but an identical mount will not give the same height on one that it does on another. If you have an American Defense absolute co-witness mount on your Aimpoint Micro and you then transfer that mount to a Vortex Sparc, you will now have a lower 1/3 co-witness.

Dec 06, 2011 · The absolute co-witness will make it easier to use your iron sights while viewing through the glass. Whereas the 1/3 will often make it harder to see the bottom 1/4 of the rear sight because the black sight will blend in with the black housing of the optic, which leads to slight inaccuracy.
