T1 absolute co witness mount

I have recently picked up a Zenith Z5P and the mount it comes with is just to high for my liking. I am not a fan of the sight picture that it yields. I am looking to mount for now a Sig Romeo and later a Aimpoint T2. I am looking for a "low mount" that will give me a absolute co-witness or as close as I can get.

The decision point is in determining if you prefer Absolute Co-witness or Lower 1/3. The choice really comes down to what optic mount height you chose, the irons will stay the same height. Lower 1/3 Co-witness is just like it sounds, the iron sights (specifically the front sight) will be in the lower 1/3 of the optic.

Fur prices 2020 forecastThe reason I ask is that there is a mount for Absolute Cowitness and a mount for Lower 1/3 Cowitness on Primary Arms website and amazon. I was told by Midwest Industries to order their absolute cowitness mount to get a lower 1/3 on the Romeo since the Romeo sits slightly higher than the Aimpoint T1/T2.

Jun 19, 2014 · Not always true. A Vortex Sparc and an Aimpoint Micro can use the same mount but an identical mount will not give the same height on one that it does on another. If you have an American Defense absolute co-witness mount on your Aimpoint Micro and you then transfer that mount to a Vortex Sparc, you will now have a lower 1/3 co-witness.

The aim point t-1/T2/h-1 micro mount 1 piece is a one piece unit that places the optic in a true Absolute co-witness height. Centerline height with the T1/T2/H1 optic is 1.5″.
